My momma and I were just talking about the other day how this all started with me wanting to create a blurry background with a camera (2011 Cait had NO idea what that was called).. I vividly remember walking around the living room trying to create it with my phone & then a point and shoot and being frustrated. Taking pictures of people, let alone people getting MARRIED, wasn’t even on my radar. I figured it’d be a fad that would die out or I’d take landscapes or stills. I figured it’d be just a hobby. 

But here I sit, in my living room, on a Thursday, in yoga pants at 11 in the morning (afternoon?) & this is my full time job… WHAT?! I’ve been extra thankful for everything lately and just thinking about it makes my heart swell with happiness!!! I truly can’t wrap my brain around it but life is funny that way.. One minute you think your passion is one thing & the next it turns out you find yourself down a completely different path & it’s amazing. 

2015 was so so SO good to me. I ended with 17 weddings & some of my favorite moments of my career thus far! From Downtown Madison rooftop affairs to up north riding boats with a killer bridal party and their families. From wineries to classy rustic barns.. Each and every wedding uniquely beautiful with some of my favorite people on earth! 

THANK YOU to my fabulously lovely clients. I know I’ve expressed this time and time again but you’re all a piece of my heart. A piece of this journey that just keeps getting sweeter with each season. It’s an honor to know you all and the opportunity to celebrate your marriages is something I’ll never forget.
