step into their celebration
Tyler and I went to 8th grade and high school together. We sat at the same lunch table. Our whole friend circle had movie nights, random runs to Rockford, and we fit way too many people in my parents pool on summer nights. A lot of my high school memories include Tyler! I had met Kelly a handful of times after they had started dating but I always had thought they were good together. When Kelly reached out to me for photographing their wedding I had to play it real cool (because on the inside I was completely FREAKING out from excitement!!). Kelly radiates a level of joy and excitement that is just so contagious and she totally fits the bill as a #caynaybride. 😉
We met at Rockcut last weekend for their engagement session. Since Rockford is a bit south of Madison I swear they still had more leaves on the trees (& color) then we do here. It was the perfect weather.. Well, a tad bit windy but we made it work! It was so funny though because typically during an engagement session I ask general questions.. You know, how they met, where they went to school, what they do for a living.. Well I know all those things already about Kelly & Tyler.
But we bonded over our general obsession with Lululemon (Kelly and I have the same $100/month spending habit.. OOPS! I’m truly trying to cut back!!) and we talked about the plans for their wedding day. Needless to say, I can not wait to see these two become husband and wife!! Hurry up August 12!! <3
