March Favorites | Beauty Edition

Introducing the new series, Monthly Favorites!! I’m hoping to roll this out every month (at the beginning) & it will feature something different (or same same)! So last month I bought some new products that I have been obsessed with. Since it’s well known that I’m a girly girl through and through I figured I’d share them with you here! In case you’re looking for something new to try!

First up, my beloved Soap & Glory!

Clean On Me – Creamy & Clarifying Shower Gel by Soap & Glory – Heavenly. That’s the one word that comes to mind when I want to describe this body wash. The sent is intoxicating. A clean sent with a hint of citrus & it’s hands down my favorite thing in my shower.

The Righteous Butter Body Lotion – Soap & Glory –  Oh em gee. I slather this on the second I get out of the shower and the scent sticks around for forever. It’s creamy but not oily & quickily soaks into the skin. I hate lotions that stick around forever (you know the kind that you wipe your hands on your pants trying to get it off). Plus it has the same “Pink” sent as the body wash!

I purchased both of these products at my local Ulta but it took forever to get my hands on them. Whenever I went they were always both sold out! Then I got lucky! 🙂

I have pretty dry skin (think dry patches mid winter) and my skin is super sensitive. I’m talking a lot of gentle products intended for “sensitive skin” irritate me. It’s annoying. Anyway, I was struggling with super dry skin and my normal moisturizer was irritating the area around my eyes. In a panic 10:45 PM Target run, wandering around the isles needing skin love I found this. Neutrogena Hyrdo Boost Gel Cream! It’s not super creamy in consistency but almost water (& you guessed it, gel like). It quickly soaks in and leaves my skin feeling happy and refreshed.

Garnier Micellar Cleaning Water – I despise washing my face. There, I said it. It’s tedious, annoying, I end up getting water everywhere, and makeup get’s in my hair (think Taylor Swift Blank Space) . I’m kind of a hot mess. Enter Micellar Water. It’s like a mystical magical unicorn. It’s not oily at all which I dislike in makeup removers. I just shlup some on a cotton swab and get to work on my eyes. It does a pretty dang good job! I also use it on a q-tip to clean up mascara or random mishaps when putting on makeup!

Not Your Mothers {Clean Freak Dry Shampoo} – Another thing I dislike doing? Washing my hair. So for the days that I skip the hair washing (or have to run errands after a work & don’t have time to shower.. Sorrrry) I reach for this stuff. I was a loyal user of Dove Dry Shampoo for the longest time but grabbed this stuff last month.. I’m obsessed. The smell is amazing, it doesn’t turn my roots white, and it works wonderfully!

Well! There is my first edition of Monthly Favorites! Is this something you like? Is it silly? If you enjoyed this article hit the little “like” at the bottom of this post to give me some feedback! Wee!
