Brad & Megan | The Ridge, Lake Geneva Garden Wedding

He stood at the end of aisle nervously bouncing his legs back and fourth and glances back at his groomsmen (it may have been heat induced but it was a sweet moment regardless). As Megan came into view Brad’s mouth dropped on and his eyes lit up. Brad adores Megan. I noticed it during their engagement session & then again on their wedding day. It’s so blatantly obvious in the way he looks at her.

It was the movie 27 Dresses that gave me the “why haven’t I been doing this always” thought! The main character shared that she liked to watch the groom as the bride came down the aisle. Ever since I watched that movie I began doing just that. When I started shooting weddings I realized just how amazing this moment truly is! Brad was one of the grooms that everyone should have been watching.

Megan & Brad’s intimate ceremony was tucked away in the perennial garden with their closest family and friends. The celebration to follow was set up top a hill on Lake Geneva complete with twinkle lights and a sun drenched sky. It was truly the perfect day.

A definite favorite! So cute!

This one stopped me dead in my tracks. That finger wasn’t prompted but I believe it makes the image that much more beautiful.

That glow though!

I love me a good daddy/daughter dance!
