step into their celebration
When Marlie was asked what her favorite thing about Kris was, it was that laughter is so apparent between them.. & Kris’ favorite thing about Marlie? Her ability to stay calm under pressure and her generosity. I’m no relationship expert, but I believe those are some strong pieces to a sturdy foundation. Laughter is something everyone should chase. It heals the soul, it warms the heart, and it keeps life fun.
Their ceremony took place under one of the largest (& most beautiful) oak trees I’ve ever seen. It’s branches strong, full of life, and roots that buried deep into the earth. What a magical place, for two people with deep roots, to say their forevers under.
It was a warm & humid day.. But these two kept the day full of light, laughter, and love. Sometimes I’m overwhelmed by the sheer amazingness of my job. A front row seat to one of a couples most important and intimate days. I get to witness their I Do’s, get see every little kiss the bride steals, & get to see the pride & love in the parents as they watch two people become one. This was one of those days that brought that overwhelming amazing feeling.
