step into their celebration
Soon enough the personal posts will subside and the weddings & pretty images will take over (thank heavens, amiright? ) again. This post is semi-related to wedding photographers though or anyone that has to be working hard for a 8+ hour day. For weddings (or late nights downtown) I am an avid waterproof makeup wearer. It keeps things in place, the sad clown look is kept at bay but taking it off is a royal pain in the toosh. I despise ruining towels, double cleansing is not easy on my skin, and I hate when my pores feel clogged and icky.
Enter Clinique’s Take The Day Off balm. This is also not sponsored, I promise. Although it might sound slightly like a bad infomercial late at night. Okay? Okay.
You guys. This stuff is seriously bomb.com. You scoop up a bit of balm on your dry/clean hand and apply to a dry face. I have never had a product eat through everything as quick and efficiently as it does. The best part? It doesn’t leave behind an oily residue.
For only 15 easy payments of $29.95..
Kidding.
Anyway, it really only is $29 and I’ve been using it for the last 3 months and have hardly made a dent in the product. A little goes a real long way and it’s the first cleanser I grab when I have a lot of makeup caked on. My skin feels so clean and resembles a babies bottom afterwards.
I don’t know about you? But that’s a big ol’ win in my book!
