step into their celebration
Kayla & Connor made a lasting impression during their engagement session. These two have some of the most beautiful smiles I’ve ever seen. Their joy and love just coming easy & naturally in front of the camera. We wandered around downtown Madison (which if I remember correctly, we wandered from the Monona Terrace all the way to the Mendota Terrace)! After that evening, I was hooked.
The forecast leading up to their wedding wasn’t the greatest. It’s been a rather wet spring/early summer here in Wisconsin. I tried to avoid looking/stressing about it but as the days creeped closer the percentage of rain dropped.. The more and more I tightened those crossed fingers. It ended up being a day full of sunshine, love, magic, and a whole heck of a lot of joy.
These two have a love full of tenderness. They wanted to say traditional vows within the church walls. Keeping close to their faith… BUT they wanted to write their own vows. So prior to the ceremony, with a wall separating them, their family and closest friends surrounded them. As they each took a turn reading their hearts there wasn’t a dry eye. Vows full of promise & an everlasting kind of love. It’s people like these two that solidify that the real deal is out there (I feel like I type that every week. Man, I have some fiercely in-love couples!).
Congratulations you two. I heart you both BIG time.
