step into their celebration
Wendy and I have always had a pretty awesome relationship during her and Dan’s journey to their wedding. We bounced emails back and forth & even filled up an entire gmail thread (FYI: limit is 100). Truth be told, I LOVED it. During those emails I felt that we really got to know each other. Throw in a lunch & I felt like I was celebrating old friends on their big day.
Their ceremony took place at the UW-Arboretum. A quite iconic piece of the UW puzzle (I’m corny, I know). It’s acres upon acres of trails, gardens, and exotic plants. It’s a little secluded piece of Madison right off one of the busiest roads. It’s quiet surroundings made for the perfect location for these two to say, “I do”. These two have been together for 10 years. After starting dating at 16 & 17, these two were both pretty excited to seal the deal. It was a day full of celebration and joy.
One of the best parts of being based in Madison is the opportunity to work downtown. The Capitol, even though shot often, looks different every time you work there. It’s intricate detailing always provides the most reflective and cascading light. These two smooched & danced in the sun… All while Brad (the videographer) & I gushed over the light.
I’m super excited to be sharing this wedding with you all today. I’m really proud of this one (again, feel like I say that every weekend). MAN, I’m seriously SO LUCKY <3
