step into their celebration
I vividly remember Chelsey & David’s engagement session. It was their real first time in front of a camera & Chelsey seemed just a smidge nervous (which, rightly so!). We had wandered downtown Madison together soaking up the October light. Chelsey & David on their wedding day? Full of confidence. Rocking the shots. It miiiiight have been the happiness of just being married or it might have been that practice session.
Chelsey & David are two of the most hospitable people I have ever met. The day after their wedding Chelsey texted to make sure the hotel had worked out fine. Explaining before I left that night, that if there were issues to immediately call her… While they were celebrating… At their reception… I don’t know about you, but it was that little piece that just solidified that these two are quite amazing.
But it wasn’t just that moment with me.. It was that Danielle, the brides sister, was invited out during the daddy/daughter dance. It was the way David looked at Chelsey. It was the way their parents oozed love and support all dang day. I left that wedding admiring just how much this family loves & the multitudes of way they show it.
So congratulations Chelsey & David. Congratulations to your families uniting. I wish you oodles of years of happiness.. Which I have a feeling, will come rather easy for you two.
