step into their celebration
On September 9th, 2016. Exactly one year from their wedding day, Julie started writing Aaron letters. Every day she wrote him a letter. I don’t know about you, but that’s some real Nicholas Sparks kinda stuff. As Aaron opened the box, he was overwhelmed with emotion and unbeknownst to him, Julie was peeping thru the bathroom windows watching him. When people are good at gift giving, they’re good at gift giving. It’s an art form (not one I have) so amongst these letters were 8 other gifts & Aaron loved every. single. one. of them. Aaron’s gift to Julie was unbelievable as well. These two are going to have some rad birthdays, holidays, and anniversaries. But above the material, these gifts were loaded with emotion.. & that’s where the good stuff is.
My favorite moment from their day, hands down, was, as Julie walked down the aisle, Aaron gave her a little wave and mouthed “hi”. It was something so simple but so touching. Thinking about that little moment brings a smile to my heart every single time.
I believe people come into your lives for a reason. Whether that’s to teach you something, to be there for 5 minutes or for 50 years. Julie and Aaron taught me a lot…
Those bullets might seem obvious or so unbelievably simple. But I walked away from their wedding with a breath of fresh air.
