Jessica & Chris | A Winter Engagement Session at the Jewish Goodman Community Center

When Jessica mentioned the possibility of a winter session, I knew that I was going to like these two. I absolutely love winter. I love it when the air hurts my face, I love the look of freshly fallen snow, and honestly, winter holds such a romantic feel to me. Does it get any more cuddly then sub zero temps, snowflakes, a fire, and coco? I just don’t think so.

Granted there were only cuddles at our engagement session together but man, I am HEAD OVER HEELS in love with this session today you guys. It was frigid. A balmy 12 degrees outside and Jess was shivering but these two were such troopers. They giggled, they loved on each other, and spending the afternoon with them was honestly such a treat. As I drove home, I quickly thought to myself, “if it was 70 and sunny out I TOTALLY could have photographed them for HOURS”.

We wandered the isolated community center. Which during the summer months is a public pool. I’ve worked here a couple of times now and with it being on the outskirts of Madison it’s quiet, relaxed, and positioned just right for that golden hour. Plus there are pine trees, which offered us some great color during a primarily colorless season.

Meet Jess & Chris. I’M COUNTING DOWN THE DAYS TILL THEIR WEDDING.
