Joanie & Brandon | An Iconic Madison Summer Wedding at the Memorial Union

I opened the Memorial Union doors to Joanie anxiously awaiting to see Brandon for the first time that day. Every hair in place, vibrant floral bouquet, and a dress exquisitely made it was no secret how Joanie felt. It was before she even stepped through the threshold that the tears started to fall. Joanie quietly walked up to Brandon, laid a gentle hand on his shoulder, and then love filled the space. Between soft kisses, tears, and warm embraces these two let the day wash over them.

It was during Joanie’s dad’s speech that I truly realized that these two have an ebb and flow like none other. During their engagement session I could simply feel that they balance each other out. Joanie’s vivaciousness met with Brandon’s calmness. Ever since their engagement session, I’ve been anxiously awaiting their wedding day.

The Great Hall at the Memorial Union has always been a coveted and iconic location here in Madison. Located within the infamous terrace there is just a sense of elegance, timelessness, and enjoyment (because let’s be real, it is a part of UW’s campus after all ;). Their day was full of all those things and then some. I can’t wait for you to see their images. I think you’re going to love them.
