Joel & Kelly | A Classic Springtime Wedding at The Fields Reserve

The first wedding coming off of off season (that’s a mouth full) always leaves me with a tummy full of butterflies. I mean, shooting weddings is like riding a bike but getting back into the swing of photographing a once in a life time even would leave anyone a little nervous. Walking into the bridal suite the morning of Kelly & Joel’s wedding made all of those butterflies instantly disappear. The room was calm, relaxed, warm, and full of happiness. As I photographed details, everything came flooding back to me and I was so excited to celebrate this day with them.

If Kelly & Joel’s wedding day is any indication for how the 2019 season is going to go, I’m in for a real treat. Their day was exceptionally wonderful. From family & friends who were so unbelievably welcoming to a ceremony that oozed love & joy. Witnessing a love like theirs, it was such a honor.

In my questionnaire, I ask couples what their favorite part of the planning process has been.. Kelly answered this question that stopped me dead in my tracks. She said, “getting to experience the excitement of wedding planning together, and falling even more in love with my fiance than I knew was possible”. Safe to say that, that answer was the sweetest of answers I’ve ever received.

I’m so dang excited to be sharing their day with you today! I know you’re going to love the joy, love, colors, and spring green that it had! We even had a killer golden glow! Enjoy!
