The bridal party was in the ceremony space all lined up ready to go.. When the dark clouds lingering above opened up and released the heaviest rain I’ve ever experienced on a wedding day. Hail. Wind. The whole nine yards with Chris & Jess stuck in their getting ready suites a stone throw away from the ceremony location. The rain finally let up and their wedding day was underway.

That morning, I was keeping my eye on the radar. Watching the percentages shift and move around.. The brunt of it hitting right during the ceremony (which at the last minute was pulled inside fortunately). I will say one thing.. That storm made Jess & Chris’ day so unbelievably unique. Everyone will remember being trapped in the barn during a storm that put their ceremony on pause. It is something that I know I will forever remember.

It also gave us the most beautiful and glowy light for the rest of the afternoon. Heck yes! Jess & Chris’ day was so unbelievably beautiful and I’m so dang excited for you to see their images today. Scroll on and get started because I’m in LOVE with them.
