I think one of the BIG things that sticks out to me about Kate & Shawn’s day is just how relaxed they both were. Looming above us was a less-than-stellar weather forecast and upon talking to Kate that morning this is something that she said,

If my dress gets gross, my rehearsal dress is 2 minutes down the road. I’ll just put that on.

It was in that moment that all my stress about the forecast subsided because if a bride is welcoming of the weather (& still down to create magic) well then, I’m one happy camper. Lucky for us, the rain held off and Kate didn’t have to break out the rehearsal dress.

Kate & Shawn were married during a misty part of the day surrounded by those they loved most at NOAHs Event Venue out in Sun Prairie, Wisconsin. It was my second time working in the space and I loved it just as much as the first. I am so unbelievably excited to be sharing this wedding with you all today and I truly hope you love it as much as I do.

Congratulations Kate & Shawn. I am so thankful that I had you two as clients this season. Your love, energy, happiness, and warmth is palpable and I’m lucky to have had the chance to get to know you.
