Michelle & I first met at her sisters wedding in February of 2015. I remember Michelle being warm and radiant. Whenever I’m around women like that, that aren’t engaged I always secretly hope that I will hear from them down the line. So when Michelle landed in my inbox excitedly sharing that she was engaged I did the BIGGEST happy dance in my chair. Turns out I was available for their date and was SO dang excited to get to add them to the calendar.

I pulled into Terry Trueblood Recreational Center in Iowa City, Iowa and couldn’t help but notice the golden light already cascading its way through the park. It’s no secret that I’m a fan of golden filtered light and trees that let that light sprinkle thru. It was a matter of minutes from starting the session that I knew that this was going to be a beauty.

Logan suits Michelle perfectly and their love for each other (& their English Bulldog Dennis) radiated from them both. From sweet smooches to hearing a few “I love you’s” these two are about as beautiful as it comes.. & will honestly be one of the most STUNNING bride and grooms.
