pretty things live here.
I obviously have a soft spot for small and intimate weddings. There is something to be said about a wedding where you truly get to soak up the people inviting. Not being torn in 15 different directions or having the heartache of, “I didn’t get to hug that person” or “I didn’t get to say hello”. With 19 total people in attendance for their day there was moments of love and genuine connection. I actually found myself crying laughing during family formals because the joy and closeness that these families exude was palpable.
It’s always a honor shooting weddings but it feels even more of a honor when it comes to the intimate ones. It feels like being invited to an exclusive party & getting an even better look into the couple + their lives. I left Elaina & Ryan’s day feeling I had gained new friends and for that I will forever remember their day.
Set at Ryan’s parents house in Sturgeon Bay, these two had the perfect day for their nuptials. With a warm sun, changing trees, and a gentle breeze it felt SO good to celebrate outside with them. It really was the perfect day.
Congratulations Elaina & Ryan! Your love is beautiful!
