The thing about photographs, as cliche as it sounds, is that they stop time. They freeze a moment. Whether it’s a wedding, a portrait session, or a family session.. The photographs created will forever encapsulate where you were at a single moment in time. I think in a way, I find shooting family sessions more impactful then weddings. Little ones grow and change so unbelievably fast so when Hallie asked if I would shoot J*s 6 month photos.. I was SO excited but SO nervous.

Basked in golden light, these three snuggled up to celebrate 6 months with their little guy. The evening was perfect, albeit a bit warm, but perfect. I truly hope Hallie & Dylan feel like these images freeze time for them. I want them to always remember their babe this way as he grows and changes. I LOVED getting to photograph him at his newborn stage and again for this milestone!
