step into their celebration
My first wedding at the new Barnwood Events here in Madison and hopefully not my last. Kirstin and Josh celebrated their marriage on December 31st and honestly, it was the best way to ring in the New Year.
If you’re planning a wedding in Wisconsin, in December, there is a high chance you ideally want a snowy and romantic day. When the snow rolled in a few days before their big day, I knew it was going to make the day that much more beautiful and I was right.
We started the day at Barnwood with details and getting ready shots. With a special and emotional first look and some classic portraits we then started our way towards the Capitol. With it being a holiday & a Friday, things were very quiet downtown which added to the effortless feeling from the day.
Kirstin & Josh are surrounded by some of the most wonderful people which honestly makes sense. These tow are caring, considerate, and honestly one of the nicest couples I’ve had the pleasure of working with. It would only make sense that their friends & family were the same.
While it was cold day out, it lead us to some amazing photos and moments captured from their day. I am honestly OBSESSED with this wedding and am so excited to be sharing it with you all today. From their darling puppy Scout (who joined us at the Capitol) to a packed dance floor, Kirstin & Josh had a day that I will never forget.
