Until about 3 hours before their session it was sunny & I’ll be honest, I was a bit bummed. The UW Arboretum in Madison, Wisconsin is absolutely magnificent during golden hour so I was so ready for a golden filled evening. However, Erin and Jacob had the best kind of cloud cover. Thin, high, and illuminating. It really gives their images a soft and romantic feel. As I pieced together this blog post, I wasn’t sad about the lack of sun during the first half of their session.

After an outfit change and a bit different location, the sun decided to come out! Perfectly placed about the tree line, it provided the most stunning golden glow that we could have asked for. It gave their session such diversity and I am so dang thankful for a beautiful evening with these two.

Erin & Jacob are getting married this Saturday and I can not wait to celebrate with them!
