step into their celebration
If you were in Wisconsin last Wednesday you’ll know that we had a HUGE storm roll through in the early evening. That morning, Abbie and I were both keeping a close eye on the radar and decided to move forward with our time together at The Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin.
The hard thing about engagement sessions that happen 1.5+ hours away from your homes (in our case, both of us were coming from a bit of a hike) is getting a grasp on the weather can feel a bit tricky. Different cloud covers provide different light (much like full sun) so navigating our start time felt like a bit of a juggle. We opted to move it up by 1 hour and I am SO glad we did.
The cloud cover at The Osthoff Resort was light and illuminating but the dark clouds hung out right on the horizon. We actually had someone from the resort come up to us to verify that we knew what was looming above. Lucky for us Abbie and Cody were absolute PROS and flew through the session with ease. We were able to get everything we wanted to and I am so dang thankful for that.
Abbie and Cody laughed their way through our time together which is easily one of my favorite types of couples. While I know they were nervous, they navigated their session with such ease and love. While I’ve been excited for their wedding since they booked, I am even more excited to celebrate them!
