To say I’ve been looking forward to Chett & Lacey’s Whistling Straits wedding is an absolute understatement. You see, this venue has been on my dream list for quite some time now. Set up on Lake Michigan in Sheboygan, Wisconsin the property is absolutely spectacular. The stone work, foliage, lake, and golf course simply create an unworldly feel. I truly felt like a transported to a romantic space where magic happens.

That same feeling throughout the day led to images that I am so unbelievably proud of. From start to finish this day was stunning. While the weather wasn’t exactly what Lacey & Chett were hoping for, it did definitely add an element of dreaminess to their imagery. With moody skies & cool temperatures, it made the candlelit reception feel cozy and romantic. With a little flexibility and dodging a few rain clouds, we were able to get everything we wanted and then some.

I feel like I’ve said it nine million times over the years but I love getting to work at a golf course. The meticulously landscaped greenery to the open air feel, it creates such a special feeling that keeps me wanting more.
