They had a lab together while at UW. Upon scheduling a work session for after class Stephanie suggested working at Ryan’s house. He rattled off his address and that’s when they realized it. They lived exactly right across the street from each other.

Does it get any more serendipitous then that?

So their relationship as lab partners turned into best friends and then it flourished into something greater. Ryan is in Kentucky for his job and Stephanie just finished up her first year of med school in Missouri. We talked about long distance relationships and these two didn’t seem fazed. That distance is securing their foundation. Laying one more sturdy layer on top of the other making their roots grow deeper. 

These two giggled, loved, opened their hearts and let me get a view into their relationship & it’s a beautiful one for sure. 

They’ll celebrate their marriage at the Madison Club next March and I couldn’t be more excited!
