Jacqy and Jake live in Colorado (fun fact: Denver is one of my favorite cities). With them living half way across the country, we didn’t get a chance to do an engagement session. SO when Jacqy invited me to their welcome party Friday evening I was a little nervous. You see, even though we’re connected on social media, Jacqy & Jake are the adventurous type. Meaning, in a lot of their photos, they have ski goggles on or sunglasses.. So this might sound a smidge weird, but I wasn’t 110% what they looked like in person!

So as I arrived at the welcome party, I obviously took a shot in the dark (well not really) but gambled that the girl in the chic white pantsuit with a lace back was in fact, Jacqy. As I approached we met eyes (this sounds soooo romantic. HA) and the rest of our greeting was a hug, a swivel back and forth, and lots of squeals. It always just amazes me how after a year of digital communication that officially meeting brides always feels like life long friends greeting. 

So today, I’m excited to be sharing Jacqy & Jake’s wedding with you all today. Like so SO excited. I vividly remember getting their invite. Ooing and ah-ing at the paper. It was classic, elegant, and timeless. If you know me at all, you know that timeless is something I’m after in multiple avenues of my life. In any event, I’ve been looking forward to this wedding for a very long time.
