Hayley and Sky had picked it out for our session together & I excitedly looked forward to working in a new space. But as I made my way towards the Retzer Nature Center in Waukesha I started to feel like the location was very familiar.. & it was! I photographed a beloved former clients family session there this past winter. Even though I had photographed the location before, this time around it looked VERY different. Lucious greens, a golden sun, and the most magical gnats (believe me here).

Sometimes a session is extra perfect. The outfits are perfect. The light is perfect. The humidity is at the best percentage, and the chemistry with the clients is unmatched. This was Hayley & Sky’s session. I got home and uploaded the images and could not BELIEVE what I saw. Shot after shot had me in love. I’m typically always excited following a session about what I’ve created but Hayley & Sky’s session was next level.

There is approximately ONE black & white photo in my favorites folder. It’s likely that you know I’m a big fan of color but I typically have a good sprinkle of them.. I just couldn’t bring myself to convert any of them.. SO enjoy this absolutely stunning session. If I do say so myself 🙂
