step into their celebration
Fawn reached out to me via email and had inquired about only an engagement session. Her and Joe were in the middle of planning their August wedding and I was so excited about photographing this moment in their relationship. Shortly after that inquiry, she emailed me again explaining that their initial photographer had to back out from their day. I was heartbroken for them being put through that kind of stress but honestly thrilled that they asked me to shoot their day + I was available.
Fawn & Joe had an outdoor ceremony at Burrows Park in Madison, Wisconsin. My first time there and honestly, it’s a little slice of green space not too far from downtown. It’s beautiful and I could totally understand why they wanted to promise their forever there. It was a warm day but the rain was staying away which I know was so unbelievably important to Fawn. Right as their ceremony started, the winds picked up immensely and the clouds got dark but it didn’t produce a single drop of rain.
Their vows were some of the most sincere ones I’ve heard over the years. They were loving, supported, excited, and heartfelt. It truly was such a honor getting to photograph their day. Congratulations Fawn & Joe! I will forever be grateful to have witnessed your love!
