A Madison State Capitol Wedding | Mitch & Jesus

Mitch & Jesus first inquired exactly 2 months before their wedding. They were planning an intimate and romantic wedding at the Madison State Capitol in the Senate Parlor Room. I was ecstatic and my fingers were double crossed that they would end up booking with me. I knew the space was beautiful but actually have never had a chance to work inside the Senate rooms.

With stunning mahogany wood and under 30 of their favorite people it was a day that no one will ever forget. Mitch & Jesus are about as wonderful as they come. Easy to talk to, charismatic, and undeniably in love with each other. Getting to witness their promises of forever was so unbelievably special and I know their families are so excited for them.

We shot their portraits outside the State Capitol here in Madison Wisconsin which if you’ve been around here for a minute, you know it’s one of my favorites. With their stunning suits we captured some of my favorite portraits I’ve ever taken. The best part though? Their adorable dog, River, got to join us for a handful. Having their pup make an appearance for their wedding day just made things infinitely sweeter.

With flurries and a snow filled day, it was hopefully everything these two wanted and then some. I am so unbelievably excited to be sharing their day with you all.

Congratulations Jesus & Mitch. I hope you two are soaking up your time in Puerto Rico and drinking all the delicious drink (and let’s be real, eating all the delicious food). Your day was truly incredible and I will forever be honored to have been the one to photograph your wedding. Sending all the love and happiness your way.
