step into their celebration
I absolutely ADORE winter session. I think the light has a special glow to it that you don’t get during the summer & the snow creates such beautiful & even light. Jennifer loves pine trees so it felt that the Jewish Goodman Community Center was the perfect spot for our time together. Right outside of Madison, this little slice of beauty is my favorite place to work at during the winter months.
When Jennifer first inquired I was ecstatic. I don’t frequently get to photograph maternity sessions (I simply just don’t market for them) so this inquire felt extra special. On top of it being something I don’t normally shoot, it was also a referral from a talented photographer & friend. Leading up to the session we talked about her dress from Baltic Born and what our time together would look like. From the very beginning of our communication I could just tell that I would love Jennifer. Through her words she is warm & easy to talk to. I knew that if Jennifer was this amazing, her husband Frank was going to be just as awesome.
I pulled into the Jewish Goodman Community Center and just KNEW it was going to be a wonderful evening. The sun was incredible and while it was the coldest day of the week, it was so worth it! We wandered the property and soaked up Jennifers beautiful bump and the setting sun. I walked away from our time together feeling SO alive and I really hope you all love the images as much as I do!
Congratulations to these soon to be parents. They are going to be absolutely incredible in their new rolls and I just know that babe is going to be a real cutie!
