step into their celebration
Getting to work downtown Madison Wisconsin is easily one of my favorite spots to shoot. With illuminating light, pretty greens, & clean light that bounces off the Capitol? It’s always the recipe for beautiful imagery. Jen & Jack are getting married at The Tinsmith next month and I am extra excited for their wedding. It’ll be my first time working in that space and I just know it’s going to be such a fun day. Jen & Jack booked me last fall. We quickly realized that we all lived at the same apartment complex and our apartments faced each other. Like how small of a world can it be?!
During the summer, the Capitol in Madison Wisconsin hosts concerts on the square on Wednesday nights. If you’ve never been, people are very serious about this (& even put blankets down in the morning to reserve their spots). People are usually packed in like sardines and it’s a very fun time. Jen & Jack’s session was scheduled for a Wednesday. All three of us had a panic moment Tuesday night that we had scheduled our time together during a very bad time. Turns out, lucky for us, the concerts wrapped a couple of weeks before our time together. This session had to be rescheduled a few times so we were all glad that it didn’t have to happen again.
