I’m actually not sure how we even took any photos during this session. Hanging out with Anna & Jacob downtown Chicago was easily one of the most fun filled sessions I’ve ever had. We talked about the purchase of their new condo, what they like to do for date nights, Anna and I’s obsession with true crime documentaries, & so much more. We laughed more then we didn’t and to say I’m excited for their wedding next year is an absolute understatement.

We had the most perfect evening together downtown Chicago. While the air was warm, the breeze kept us cool. The sun and humidity levels gave us the most golden filled light ever. Halfway through their session we headed down to the lakefront. The temperature dropped a bit and the breeze calmed down. I haven’t seen Lake Michigan that calm in a while. The blue was absolutely incredible and honestly? It may be some of my absolute favorite images I’ve ever taken.

From the luscious greens to the glowing skyline, this session really hits me in the feels. Anna & Jacob laugh like no other and simply have a warmth that they share between each other & with those around them. I feel so lucky to have witnessed their love and just know that same love with be palpable on their big day. I am SO excited for these two!
