Haley and Alex reached out to me at the end of January hoping that I would photograph their elopement and portraits downtown Madison, Wisconsin. A referral from one of my favorite weddings made the decision to say yes effortless. Haley’s energy just from her initial inquiry was absolutely contagious. Seeing that same energy from both Haley & Alex made photographing them a blast.

The absolutely special thing about elopements & micro weddings is truly how connected everyone feels. Having almost photographed 200 celebrations over 10 years, I can confidently say that the small celebrations have such a special impact.

Haley & Alex expressed their love for each other through emotional vows. Everyone was either in tears or fighting them back. A stunning representation of their love. From start to finish it was a love filled ceremony.

We started at the Judge Chambers office on the west side of Madison for their ceremony and then headed downtown Madison Wisconsin for their portraits. It was an absolutely stunning evening and they truly lucked out with the weather (we even got to see the sun!).
