step into their celebration
I’ve worked at The Edgewater probably a half dozen times at this point. Each time is beautifully unique from the last. With its iconic location right on the water and being a stones throw from the Madison Capitol it is easily one of the most recognized spots in the city.
Leading up to a wedding, I try really hard to not look at the weather as the day will be beautiful regardless. I did know that we had a 0% chance of rain so I figured my only challenge would be some sunshine. As I was prepping Erik for the first look, we heard some rumble in the distance. A radar check later & it looked like it was going to hit farther north. I wasn’t worried.
Following the first look, we made our way to the Madison Capitol. That’s when we felt a little “sprinkle” begin. Taking coverage under an overhang is when it decided to rain. We rocked all their portraits and wedding party images in that little nook. The light was absolutely incredible and I would never have known about this pocket unless it had rained.
Mo & Erik and their wedding at The Edgewater was unbelievably joy filled. Lots of laughter, lots of hugs, lots of those in between moments filled with sentimental emotions and happiness. I am so excited to be sharing their beautifully classic wedding with you all today.
