When Erin & Jacob first inquired about their wedding at The Overture Center in Madison, I was ecstatic. With floor to high ceiling windows and illuminating light, it is easily one of the most timeless and beautiful spaces.
Truth be told, I’ve written this post 900 different ways in my head since Saturday (it’s now Tuesday). Each time I “write” it, it doesn’t do the day justice. It never feels to fully describe Erin & Jacob’s love and just how incredible it is.
The slow and drizzly morning started at their home. I walked up to the front door and saw Erin and her momma in the living room putting on their makeup with Jacob in their bedroom. Walking in I was flooded with a peacefulness that made me realize the day was going to be steadfast and calm.
With 70 of their closest friends and family, Erin and Jacob were married on the third floor of The Overture Center. With personally written vows, there was lots of tears and laughter. The intimate setting of their ceremony with the spectacular views of the Capitol gave their day a unique and romantic feel.
I am truly so thrilled that I had the chance of witnessing their love. It’ll be a day that I, along with their guests, will forever remember. Congratulations Erin & Jacob!
