Fall is always such an iconic time of year near the Madison State Capitol. With big billowing oak trees and golden sunlight, Chelsea and Nick had such a beautiful evening for their engagement session. While the temperature was maybe a little cooler than we had hoped, it allowed for Chelsea’s coats to truly shine. As a fellow coat enthusiast, I LOVE that these two added layers and different texture/elements to their photos.

Chelsea & Nick are getting married next August at The Club Lac La Belle and to say I’m excited is a complete understatement. I know their day is going to be absolutely stunning from start to finish and I can not wait to create in this beautiful space. Getting to work at a new venue is honestly one of my favorite parts of the job. It allows me to create freely and provide a completely new and unique experience.

We wandered the Madison State Capitol last Wednesday talking about their wedding plans, what they like to do for fun, places they enjoy eating.. Getting to connect with couples always feels so unbelievably special to me. It truly gives me a glimpse into how a couple navigates their love. Intel for the wedding day of sorts. On top of that, I always love connecting with fellow foodies and finding out what restaurants Philip and I need to add to our list.

I am SO excited to be sharing this engagement session with you all today! She is truly an autumnal beauty and I can not wait for their big day!
