To say we had the perfect evening for Lacey & Chett’s engagement session is an understatement. It was the epitome of a beautiful Wisconsin evening and truly the type of weather I would love to shoot in always. Mid 70s, little humidity, a gentle breeze, and a warm sun. It really doesn’t get much better than that.

Lacey & Chett are getting married at Whistling Straits and I honestly am counting down the days till their celebration. These two are going to be one beautiful bride and groom. We started our session together at The Capitol and then wrapped at The Memorial Union. If you’re a photographer, you know that the second half of that session had to be timed perfectly. The way the light cascades across the lake can be quite harsh. Lucky for us, we timed it perfectly.
