Let’s start this post out by saying that it is large. The Overture Center in Madison is always so iconically beautiful. With expansive floor to ceiling windows and amazing natural light, it’d be hard to not over create in this space.

The forecast was a bit unnerving for Nicole and Jacob’s big day. With pockets of rain here and there we were a bit worried it was going to throw a wrench into our plans. The rain held off for the times we needed and we even got sun at their golden hour portraits. It was absolutely perfect.

From start to finish this day was jam packed worth of photos, events, and joyful moments. With a welcoming and large wedding party, I truly felt I was hanging out with a group of friends for the entire day.

Nicole and Jacob promised their forevers on the third floor of The Overture Center. With beautiful views of the state Capitol, you truly can not go wrong here. Cocktail hour happened on the second floor and the sound of laughter and discussion echoed throughout the entire venue. With the reception happening on the first floor, Nicole and Jacob had their guest moving throughout the entire space.

I think my favorite design element from the entire day was the white bistro lights above the reception space. From the lobby, The Overture Center is 4 or 5 stories tall and those bistro lights gave the dance floor a unique “ceiling”. Cultivating a romantic and intimate feeling in such an expansive space was so unbelievably stunning.
