I’ve worked at The Park Hotel downtown Madison, Wisconsin a few times over the last 10 years. Each and every time I’m there I walk away with the best of memories. With its close proximity to The Capitol and incredible views, its iconic in a way that feels timeless and elegant.

While going through Molly & Henry’s images from Saturday there was a common emotion that I kept seeing over and over and over again. That emotion being pure joy. These two from start to finish were elated to be celebrating their love. The genuine excitement that filled their suites during the getting ready portion set the tone for the entire day. The people they were surrounded by only feeding into the excitement and happiness.

The weather forecast leading up to their day was a bit concerning. The Monday before called for 98% chance of rain which was a bit surprising. For an end of December wedding, rain was not on my radar of potential concerns. As the week trekked on, the percentages dropped and moved from rain to partial sun. While a little bit of rain hit right before their ceremony, the weather held itself together for when we needed it to.
