The Vibrant and Light Filled 2022 Wedding Season

As a photographer who loves vibrant and light filled imagery, I am so excited to be sharing the wedding photography highlights of the 2022 season!

I have 330 favorite images from 2022. Three hundred and thirty.

Every year when I sit down to write this post I end up staring at a blinking cursor. As it blinks, I hope it will somehow fill the page with words of gratitude on its own. How do I truly articulate how impactful this year was on me? How do I sum that up year after year? Each year I reflect back on what an incredible season it was and each season seems to be better than the last.

Even though it’s been 10 years as wedding photographer, I’m still learning and being pushed in ways I never thought possible.

The interactions with guests, the vibrant and light filled moments, celebrations, flowers, and love filled days are uniquely beautiful each and every time.

From start to finish, the 2022 was absolutely stunning. I created some of my all time favorite images with some of my all time favorite couples. With 23 celebrations, I delivered and edited 20,591 images. That number is absolutely wild to me. To have seen and processed that many photos full of loved ones, emotion filled moments, joyful hugs, packed dance floors.. The 2022 season filled my heart to the very top.

To my absolutely beautiful couples, thank you. Thank you for trusting me with the important role of being your wedding photographer. Our time together meant the absolute world to me and I will forever remember you all being warm, joyful, and incredible to work with. The vibrant and light filled imagery we created together will go down as some of my favorite images. I stand behind having the best couples ever, and this season was no different. You all changed my life.
