It’s been quite a year. The purchase of my first DSLR, the launch of caynay photography. It’s been a whirlwind & a struggle. Between trying to find my voice, having confidence behind the camera, & trying not to get lost amongst gushing over other photographers work. I have fallen in love with my camera one day, to completely despising it the next. 

Between all this I have fallen in love with the art of photography. The learning aspect of it. Since receiving my camera I have dived nose deep into all I can possibly learn about it. It’s been an awesome year. I hope 2012 brings even more learning and expansion of my little business. I can’t wait to see what it brings.

What better way to end the year by highlighting my favorite people images of 2011. My favorite critter images of 2011 deserve their own post 😉 — I also feel looking through theses that you can see a distinct difference in what were the first shots compared to the last.
