Jennifer approached me & asked if I would be interested in doing team/single shots of the TBall team in my home town. I anxiously and excitedly agreed to do it! As I pulled up to the field tonight, I had a bit of anxiety…As I normally do before shoots. But this time it was different. This was way out of my comfort zone. This was something that I had never attempted before & I wasn’t even sure I could do it. However, only 5 minutes after I did my first test shot, my anxiety was lifted. I love working with children. They laugh at my stupid jokes. They make silly faces and don’t feel silly. They’re wonderful.
So I guess I’m writing this so I can reflect back on it. To know that stepping outside your comfort zone is good for your growth. Is good for your confidence. Is good for making you realize that doing something out of your comfort zone will in fact, make you better.
Here are some of the single shots I took this evening.. How adorable are these little tikes? Seriously. Oh and don’t mind that spotty nasty grass that I can’t get rid of.. We’re basically in a drought right now & everything is dead :'(
