Hopefully I’m not alone in this, but almost every shoot I do I’ll have a few seconds where my brain shuts down. This is where I’ll usually do a little dance or make some odd noise & try to convince myself not to panic.
So… When I either feel this coming on or am experiencing it I’ll simply have my clients walk it out! Seriously. It works like magic for me every single time. It’s the perfect transition pose that will give you 30 seconds to refresh and re-establish what you need to do. Plus it usually creates some pretty candids and natural posing for you!
As they walk, I’ll have them hold hands and shift their eyes to me, at each other, the ground, and then at the end I’ll have them stop and pop in for a smooch! Don’t make them walk too long or too far as just like any other pose, it’ll become awkward if held too long but that few seconds of movement really is a breath of fresh air!
